From my earliest memories playing in the dirt with my Matchbox cars, to inventing new worlds inside a 3D modeling application, I've always loved microcosms. I suppose that's why I'm drawn to film; an entire world inside a box. I noodle on the guitar, occasionally play hockey, and spend entirely too much time on the computer doing nerd-stuff. You can usually find me passed out in my home studio surrounded by empty Slim Jim wrappers, a stack of aviation magazines, and too many flip-flops.
I've been pretty lazy for most of my adult life, in that I've not completed a lot of projects I've started. Now, in my day job, I get things done and come through with flying colors. But my personal projects... well, there's a graveyard full of them.
This blog was started in 2005, and has gone through hell and back. I've lost a bunch of postings due to stupidity (read: laziness) and have used several different technology platforms, never completely satisfied with any of them to date.
The time has come to continue with this journal the proper way: I'm going to keep it simple and hold myself accountable for things I post.
Oh yeah, I like eating hot dogs.
